Mica Shine All Natural Beuaty

What is it

  •   Small, tapered brush with natural or synthetic bristles.
  •  Designed for applying highlighter to accentuate high points of your face, such as cheekbones, brow bone, and Cupid's bow.
  •   Use gentle sweeps for a subtle glow.
What You'll Need
  •   Highlighter (powder, cream, or liquid).
  •   Small, tapered highlighter brush with natural or synthetic bristles.
  •   Mirror.
  •   Optional Setting spray.
Complete Your Base Makeup
  •  Before applying highlighter, ensure you've used your foundation, concealer, and contour.
  •  Your face should be primarily complete so the highlighter can add the finishing touches.
Position the Brush
  • Hold your highlighter brush by the handle, gripping it near the middle or slightly closer to the bristles for better control.
  •   Avoid holding it too close to the bristles, making the application too concentrated.
Load Up on Highlighter
  •   For powder highlighters, lightly dip the tapered end into the product.
  •   For cream or liquid highlighters, dip the brush into the product, apply a small amount onto the back of your hand, and then pick it up with the brush.
Shake Off the Excess
  •   Tap the brush lightly against the rim of the highlighter container or on your wrist to eliminate any extra product.
  •   This ensures that you don't apply too much at once, making it easier to build up the glow.
Identify the High Points
  •   The high points of your face are where the light naturally hits.
  •   These include the tops of your cheekbones, brow bones, and the Cupid's bow above your upper lip.
Apply to Cheekbones
  •   Start by gently sweeping the brush along the top of your cheekbones.
  •  Use back-and-forth motions to disperse the product evenly.
  •   The goal is to make it look like the glow is coming from within rather than sitting on your skin.
Highlight the Brow Bone
  •   Move on to the area right below your eyebrows, the brow bone.
  •   A light sweep here can lift your eyes and make them appear more open.
Accentuate the Cupid’s Bow
  •   Use the tip of your brush to gently dab highlighter onto the Cupid's bow—the little dip above your upper lip.
  •  This makes the lips appear fuller and more defined.
Other Potential Highlight Spots
  •  You can also apply a small amount to the bridge of your nose and the inner corners of your eyes for a more radiant look.

Blend for Natural Glow
  •   If you notice any harsh lines or overly concentrated areas, gently blend them out with the same brush or your fingertips.
Optional Set Your Highlight
  •  Suppose you want to make your highlight last longer, which is especially important for Drag Performers. In that case, you can finish with a setting spray.
  •   Hold the spray at arm’s length and mist your face, allowing it to dry naturally.
Always clean your highlighter brush
  •  with suitable brush cleaners or mild soap and water regularly to maintain the quality of the bristles.
  •   Drag Performers may opt for a more intense highlight, depending on the look they are going for.
  •   But the key is to ensure it’s blended seamlessly for a professional finish.
  •  If you apply too much highlighter, don’t worry.
  •   Use a clean makeup sponge to dab over the area and absorb excess product.

By following this, you'll know exactly how to use a highlighter brush to bring out the best features of your face. Whether aiming for a subtle glow or a radiant shimmer, mastering the highlighter brush can take your look to the next level.
